It all starts tonight, Thursday, with the Europa League Malmo v Swansea match which will be followed by a jam session hosted by Lee Bowater and his band. On Friday Rio Ferdinand’s testimonial match, Manchester Utd v Sevilla, will be screened followed by live music from the Private Dicks. Sunday will feature the friendly between Liverpool and Celtic with music from Wild Turkey.
l Fans of music and cider are in for a treat on Saturday, August 17, when the Parcel Office Cider Bar at Hebden Bridge Railway Station opens its doors for an evening of craft cider and merry music. The ‘pop up’ cider bar has been set up by the Real Cider Company and there will a selction of ten different drinks on draught and real ale, locally-sourced food and live acoustic blues.
