The site is currently fenced off and lawned area which has been cut, maintained and used as an extension of the applicants garden for more than 20 years.
To the west of the site was a former fabrication business where permission has been granted for houses.
Historically the site was occupied by as many as 16 terraces and are likely to have been demolished as part of the slum clearances of the 1960s era.The site has previous outline permission for houses.
Each of the 11 homes will have two off street parking spaces, one on the driveway and in the garage.
