Brighouse Ladies Circle is holding a 60th Charter Diamond Charity Ball to celebrate years of fun, friendship and fundraising.
This year’s chair Emily Booth is inviting former members of the Ladies Circle to attend as well as anyone else who would like to raise funds for Overgate Hospice.
Emily said: “The aim of the ball is to raise funds for my chosen charity Overgate Hospice.
“The charity is very close to the heart of my family, friends and I.
“Overgate support and tender to terminally ill patients and provide great support to their families when they need it most.
They have helped and supported many of my friends and family and for this I would like us to give something back to this amazing charity to help them carry on with their fantastic work.”
Brighouse Ladies Circle founder member Pat Wilcox will be attending the event and starting the proceedings off by lighting the Candle of Friendship.
Current members of the Ladies Circle and their friends and family will also be in attendance.
The event is being held on Saturday, October 31 at the Crystal Ballroom at Berties, Elland.
A sparkling reception will be followed by a three-course meal. Tickets cost £35 per person.
