AN IRISH twist will be added to a classic dish at Mark Frydays this weekend.
To celebrate St Patrick’s Day on Saturday, the fish and chip shop in Lightcliffe Road, Brighouse, will be turning their batter green.
Mark Keenan, who opened his business almost a year ago, said he has had customers coming into the shop asking what they would be doing for the day. “We have been trying to come up with different ideas and we thought this would be a bit unusual,” he said. “We have already had people saying they are looking forward to trying them.” Pictured are Mark Keenan, right, and George Robinson.
