The generosity of young grasstrack star Jolyon West so impressed the bosses at the BLD Motorcycle Centre in Brighouse that they have decided to back him in his campaign for success.
When ten-year-old Jolyon won the 2013 British Grasstrack Championships, he decided to give £100 of his prize money to his Cleckheaton school for new sports equipment.
BLD is now helping Jolyon in his bid for grasstrack triumph by donating parts and equipment to help him further his sport.
Alan Dunkerly, marketing executive, said: “We’re hugely impressed with Jolyon at BLD.
“He is a rising young star in his sport and we’re pretty sure he is just going to keep on winning in 2014 and beyond.”
BLD has upgraded Jolyon’s goggles and helped out with spare parts and other equipment.
Jolyon, who attends Whitechapel Primary School, visited the BLD centre in Huddersfield Road with his mum Emma to meet the team and pick up the donated items.
