A COUPLE who met at Oxford University, Mr Oliver James Kunc and Miss Ruth Evans were married at St Agatha's Church in Kingston Upon Thames.
The bridegroom, a former pupil at Woodhouse Primary School, Brighouse, and Bradford Boys’ Grammar School, is the son of Susan and Richard Kunc, of Huddersfield Road, Brighouse.
He is now chief of staff at Barclaycard in Canary Wharf, London.
The bride, a solicitor with Slaughter and May in London, is the daughter of June and Terry Evans, of Wigan. She wore an ivory satin dress fitted to the waist with a pale coffee coloured sash and she carried a hand tied bouquet of cream and burgundy roses.
Her bridesmaids were her sister Angela Evans and her cousin Maisie Wiseman.
The best man was James Hafseth and the ushers were Jonathan Cuthbert-son, Leo Davies and Sarosh Irani.
The bridegroom’s sister Helena Davies, read the prayers.
A reception for 120 guests was held at Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park. The couple, who spent their honeymoon in Cyprus, are to live in Kingston Upon Thames.
