NHS Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Group, the organisation charged with planning and buying local health services, will present its annual report and accounts at its first Annual General Meeting on Thursday September 11 at the Threeways Conference Centre, Halifax.
The meeting is being held in the Sutcliffe Room at Threeways between 1.30pm and 2.30pm will also feature a variety of information stands showing some of the work being done across the CCG.
Rastrick GP Dr Alan Brook, chair, NHS Calderdale CCG said: “Our first year of activity has presented many opportunities and challenges including the wide-ranging strategic review of health and social care services.
“We have worked hard to forge constructive relationships with patients, carers, the public, providers, the local authority, community organisations and neighbouring commissioners as we develop plans to improve local services,
“We know that local people are passionate about the NHS and local health care services so we would encourage as many people as possible to attend our first AGM to discover more about how local voices influence our thinking and decision-making,” he said.
