Brighouse woman Sam Crossland is losing her hair in a good cause - for the second time in her life.
Sam, who works at the One Stop Shop at Granny Hall Lane, is having her head shaved on Saturday, July 27 - and she is hoping that customers and members of the public will support her in aid of the Stroke Assocation.
Sam’s manager, Heather Cooke, will carry out the deed at around noon.
“I had my head shaved before about 14 years ago in aid of Comic Relief - so I know what’s in store for me and I know that my hair will grow back!” said Sam, aged 41.
“This time I chose the Stroke Assocation because I wanted to highlight the fact that young people can also be affected by strokes and need support. People can sponsor me in the shop.”
