A hardy group of golfers put on a brolly good show as they battled the extreme weather that has battered the region this week.
Despite strong gusts of wind and torrential rain, 70 members of Crow Nest Park Golf Club, Hove Edge, watched the new captain’s drive into office.
And they were rewarded for their efforts as the sun came out later in the day.

Parts of Brighouse and other areas of Calderdale were on flood alert earlier in the week as water levels rose in the River Calder.
Forecasters predict the rain and winds should ease in time for Easter, with cloudy but dry weather expected over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
