An export event in Brighouse will see three of Yorkshire’s leading businesses share their insights and top tips for local businesses looking to break into international trade.
Oganised by UKTI, Bradford and Airedale Manufacturing Alliance and Calderdale and Kirklees Manufacturing Alliance, the free event aims to help grow the Yorkshire economy by helping every business fulfil their export potential.
The companies speaking at the event will be Manasamitra, an arts, dance and musical organisation that deliver cultural events, exhibits and shows, Caldervale Technology, a manufacturer of equipment used to weld plastic pipes and Witt UK Group, a global leader in the manufacture of industrial fans.
Attendees at the event, which is being held at the KITS training centre on January 20, will hear from each of the businesses before getting the chance to ask their own questions. Those taking part will also get a free copy of the new Five Steps to Export guide, which offers advice on identifying new opportunities overseas and how to find growth on foreign shores.
Regional director of UKTI Yorkshire and Humber, Mark Robson, said: “Exports are crucial to the future prosperity of this region and our country. Brand Britain is in high demand across the globe and our businesses should be making the most of these opportunities.
“This event will allow businesses to hear how their neighbours are finding growth in international trade, learn how they can do the same and also meet like-minded businesses who can help them on their export journey.
“We hope this event will help inspire more businesses to take their first steps into a new market.”
