Lightcliffe Primary School’s Parents, Friends and Staff Association has agreed to hold another table top and car boot sale after the first was hailed a huge success.
The sale attracted not only parents and staff to the school but members of the community who were keen to show their support filling the school hall to capacity.
Stalls included children’s toys, cakes and even a competition run by Cancer Research.
Claire Hooper, vice chair of the PFSA, said: “It was really successful and we had a lot of interest from the community as well as the parents at school which was good. It was a nice chance to make people aware of the school and we were asked if we would be holding another which we will probably look to do in autumn.”
The event helped to raise £461.95 for school funds.
