Inspector Laura Hoyland said in her report: “Children have exceptional independence skills, which are taught from being babies. As a result, children are very well prepared for their future learning in school.
“Staff have extremely high expectations of children and challenge them continuously in their play. As a result, children rapidly gain new skills and make excellent progress in their learning.
“Children have very high levels of confidence and self-esteem because they are truly valued by all staff in the setting and supported to reach their potential.
“Parents are significantly involved in the setting and their views and opinions taken very seriously. Consequently, partnerships with parents are outstanding.”
The inspector observed children in lessons and held discussions with the manager, staff, children and parents.
Head teacher at the school Aisla Neville said they were delighted with the report and pleased that the inspector could see everybody’s hard work.
“Because we are very different in our approach in education it’s good to be recognised with what we do.
“We are very lucky with the staff we have who put in a lot of time and do a lot of in-house training.
“All of the staff have a degree or high level qualification and are dedicated in their planning and running of the day care.”
