Frankie set for TV date with Jess and Becks

Rastrick High School student Frankie Howarth is set to be honoured by global sporting icon David Beckham and Olympic heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis-Hill after being shortlisted as one of three finalists for the Student of the Year Award in this year’s Sky Sports Living For Sport Awards.

The school’s innovative Aussie Rules Football project has also been shortlisted for the Project of the Year Award.

The awards will be featured in a Game Changers Special one-off episode which will be broadcast live simultaneously on Sky Sports 1 and Sky 1 on Tuesday at 4.30pm.

In their roles as Sky ambassadors, David and Jessica have taken part in judging for the ‘Student of the Year Award’ and will present them live on the show.

Frankie and members of the school’s project group will attend the show which will be presented by Olympic star Darren Campbell and Sky Sports’ Di Dougherty in front of a live studio audience.
