A man has raised hundreds of pounds for a charity close to his heart by completing the Great North Run.
David Woolley presented a cheque for £600 to the Huddersfield and District Army Veterans Association.
David, 69, of Brighouse, completed last year’s Great North Run to raise funds for the organisation - a group close to his heart.
David runs with the Halifax Harriers and was the 17th year he had taken part in the event.
The cheque was presented at the association’s annual dinner, held at Greenhead Masonic Hall, Huddersfield.
We love to hear about the fantastic things you are doing for charity.
So whether it’s a bake sale, a fancy dress day, or, like David, you’re tackling a mammoth run - we want to hear all about it.
