Men accused of Rastrick shop burglary in court

Three men accused of taking £2,000 worth of cigarettes from a Rastrick shop have appeared before Calderdale Magistrates Court.

The Co-Operative store on Highfield Road, Rastrick, was targeted in the early hours of March 24.

Billy Kirby, 22, of East Park Road, Leeds, and Jason Jones, 24, of Burmantofts, Leeds, appeared in court via video link for a bail application. Magistrates remanded the men in custody until April 30. James Hawkins, 19, of Sutherland Terrace, Leeds, was given unconditional bail until May 7 when he will appear at magistrates court again.
