A 63-year-old man accused of sex offences against five female complainants has denied more than 20 charges.
Gordon Tidswell, who now lives in Bridlington, appeared before a judge at Bradford Crown Court and formally entered his not guilty pleas to a series of allegations dating back more than 30 years.
It is understood that the allegations relate to incidents in the Calderdale area.
The charges cover a period between 1980 and 2003.
Tidswell denied a total of 16 charges of indecent assault, six of attempted rape and one of rape.
None of the five complainants can be identified for legal reasons, and Tidswell was told by Judge Peter Benson that his trial has been fixed to start on April 20 next year.
The trial is expected to last about seven days.
The judge granted Tidswell conditional bail until his trial next year.
