CCTV of suspect involved in Sowerby Bridge assault

Police in Calderdale are trying to trace a suspect in connection with an assault in Sowerby Bridge where a man suffered a serious facial injury and the loss of two teeth. 

The incident happened on June 12 2016 at around 12.30am at a commercial premises on Wharf Street in Sowerby Bridge. 

A 26-year-old male was assaulted by the suspect who is described as a white male, muscular build, wearing a retro England t-shirt.

Detective Inspector Craig Lord, of Calderdale CID, said: “We are releasing this image of a man we would like to speak to in relation with this incident earlier this year. 

“This was a vicious assault and the victim was left shaken and with some serious injuries. 

“We hope that anyone who was in the area on this night will recognise the person in this image and come forward with any information which will assist with our enquiries.”
