• Police are not linking Saturday’s armed robbery to the one at the Ladbrokes betting shop in Ovenden Road, Halifax, last month. In that incident, which happened at around 8pm on Saturday, August 30, two men - one armed with a hammer - went into the store and demanded cash. They escaped with a quantity of money.

Police are still appealing for witnesses to that incident,
