Children from Clifton Village Nursery travelled dressed in festive clothing and hats to Highmoor community centre where they sang a selection of Christmas songs in a bid to give something back to the local community.
They were accompanied by classically trained singer Rachel Harrison, a friend and supporter of the nursery, who closed the performance with a selection of carols. After the carol service, the children presented members of the centre and parents with flowers and handmade stars and they received a gift from Santa.
Nursery manager Michelle Tankard said: “The event was very well supported by parents and helpers from the village, which made it feel very much a community event.
“We would like to thank all the members at Highmoor for letting us come to visit and would like to wish them all a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.”
