A Fiat camper van caught fire on the M62, causing delays for motorists.
The incident happened eastbound between junction 22, A672 (Rishworth Moor) and junction 23, A640 (Huddersfield) at around 1.46pm today (Tuesday).
When fire crews from Elland and Greater Manchester arrived they discovered the vehicle had slight charring underneath.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but crews believe it may have been an electrical fault.
One lane of the motorway was closed for 30 minutes whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
