The Calderdale Flood Relief Appeal has hit nearly £350,000.
Donations have poured in since the appeal, coordinated by the Community Foundation for Calderdale, was set up as the floods hit on Boxing Day.
And the total rises daily as people support the cause. It has been announced that match funding of £2m is available for the areas affected by storm Eva - including Leeds, Lancashire and North Yorkshire.
The deadline for match funding is January 11, so the foundation is urging people holding fundraising events to let them know as money raised could be eligible for match funding.
The foundation has also been advised by government to collect donations for businesses, as it is a registered charity already running an appeal.
It will then hand over donations and the match given for the benefit of businesses to a partnership between Business for Calderdale and the Upper Calder Valley Renaissance Business Recovery Team.
It’s hoped the foundation appeal will reach £1m - donate here at localgiving.com/appeal/Flooding
If sending a cheque to the foundation - please specify whether it is business donation or donation for individual use.
