Brighouse based renewable energy installer Q-Gen Renewable Heat has been named “Highly Commended Installer of The Year” at the National Heat Pump Awards 2013.
The company in St Peg’s Mill in Bradford Road was also nominated for the Commercial Ground Source Install of the Year.
The National Heat Pump Awards was held at the ICC in Birmingham was had a record breaking year for entries with 108 in 11 categories.
The aim of the awards night is to reward the industry’s hardest working and most respectable installers, manufacturers and trainers for all their hard work.
A Heat Pump is a renewable technology that can cut home owner bills considerably by using the natural heat in the air or ground.
Liz MacFarlane, managing director, said: “Being shortlisted for two awards is an honour. However, to get the opportunity to step up on stage and collect the award “Highly Commended Installer of the Year” was fantastic. The Q-Gen team is the hardest working I have ever known and I am proud to run such a caring and honest business.”
The installer of the year award is for Q-Gen’s versatility in installing both commercial and domestic properties and customer care service. “We have dozens of unprompted personal recommendations. Our engineers and sales support always get great feedback because they go the extra mile,” she said.
