Jo Corbett, who runs the Jo Jingles pre-school music and movement class franchise in Brighouse, is celebrating after being awarded the company’s Franchise of the Year award 2014.

Jo received the award at the national Jo Jingles conference in London.

Jo has been running Jo Jingles for 11 years, and was delighted to accept the award from Gill Thomas, who founded the company more than 20 years ago.

Jo said: “It is testament to our professionalism and continued progression that we are still one of the country’s leading pre-school music and movement classes.”

Jo Jingles provides a fun and educational introduction to music, singing and movement for children from the age of three months to five years.

It has parent and child classes but also works in nurseries and schools.

Over the past ten years, Jo Jingles has helped to raise more than £650,000 for Children In Need and this year will be no exception as it will be encouraging pre-school children attending its classes to sing and dance to raise money alongside the theme “Be a song and dance hero”.

Sponsored sing-alongs have been taking place this week in the build up to the main appeal on Friday, November 14. For class information, visit or call Jo Corbett on 01706 212889.
