Fired Up Technologies in Brighouse is set to expand its workforce after striking a deal to supply and install a new lighting and sound system for trampoline parks.

Based in Albion Mill, on Thornhills Beck Lane, the company has an exclusive contract to supply Prismatic Explosion into new and existing trampoline parks in the UK and Europe.

Directors Gary Holmes and David Wolfenden travelled to the US last year to finalise contract negotiations to become the UK and Europe’s sole supplier.

Te first two UK sites are now up and running, with the firm dealing with enquiries from all over the UK as well as France, Spain and Dubai.

Prismatic Explosion turns each trampoline bed into an interactive touch sensor.

Each time someone jumps on a trampoline bed, a sensor is activated and overhead lighting changes colour and pattern.

The overhead lighting can also be programmed to change with the beat of the music played.

Product manager Liam Richardson said: “It’s a big landmark for us.

“It’s a product no-one else can get and one that everyone wants.

“I’m now the company’s dedicated product manager, and we’ve never had any member of staff dedicated to any one product before, which shows what a massive impact it’s had.

“We’re recruiting a new installation team and hoping to take on a further nine members of staff by the end of the year.

“We’ll also be moving to bigger premises on Lightcliffe Road next month.”

Fired Up Technologies’ clients include major regional and UK wide law firms, corporate clients, schools, colleges, universities and some Calderdale Council Leisure Centres.
