Brighouse is the place to be - according to this striking poster on display in the town centre.
The poster, designed by artist Bruce Baillie for Brighouse’s successful 1940s weekend, has gone on show at Mill Royd Street and is clearly on view to motorists travelling down Huddersfield Road. Steven Lord of Brighouse Business Initiative said: “Bruce’s picture has been a huge success. Copies of it have been put on mugs and t-shirts. They’ve been selling like hot cakes.
It’s done in the style of an old-style railway poster and it’s just a lovely way to advertise the town.”
