Brighouse Heartbeat instructor Angela Lewis put in a marathon effort and raised £400 for the heart support group.
Angela completed the London Marathon in a time of four hours 25 minutes.
The group holds exercise and fitness classes and social events for those who have heart problems at Brighouse Adult Education Centre, Church Lane.
Members are now preparing for their annual spring fair - one of its main fundraisers - which will be held on Saturday, May 18 from noon to 3.30pm.
There will be a wide variety of stalls, including nearly new, books, toys, household items, plants and cakes, and children’s games. There will also be a barbecue and refreshments.
Roger Bailey, of the Heartbeat group, said: “In the last five years Heartbeat has grown from one class and 24 members to nine classes and 327 members . The annual cost for delivering the exercise and Tai Chi classes exceeds £12,000 a year and has to be raised by the group.
Any toys left at the end of the fair will be given to Little Learners and everything else will got to the British Heart Foundation shop in Brighouse to be sold for charity.
