Bailiff Bridge based business Bricks4Kidz saw a surge of interest and support for its workshops and birthday parties over the festive period.
The firm’s classes provide an exciting learning atmosphere for children using LEGO bricks, with activities that engage curiosity and creativity.
As Bricks4Kidz ‘likes’ on facebook approached a landmark level, the business decided to offer a pre-Christmas treat at random if the total could reach 500 before midnight on Christmas Eve.
“At first we expected to gain just a few more followers”, said co-owner Debbie Adamthwaite. “But the last few days produced a real influx of interest, which meant we hit the target earlier than planned.”
Once the business hit the 500 mark, a name was selected at random and the owners were able to spread some festive joy when they hand delivered the prize to the winner, Julie Gudgeon.
