It is curtain up on the family pantomime “Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves” at Brighouse Civic Hall tonight (Thursday).

Brighouse Theatre Productions (BTP) is presenting the show, which runs until Sunday, January 25.

The cast has been rehearsing hard to make the pantomime another success, following on from last year’s “Beauty and the Beast” show.

The pantomime is produced by Shane Gough, with choreography by Philippa Gibson. Jill Lambert is the musical director.

Evening performances tonight and on Friday and Saturday start at 7.15pm.

There is a matinee on Saturday starting at 2.15pm and one on Sunday beginning at the earlier time of 1.15pm.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £7 for children and senior citizens. A family ticket for four (maximum two adults) costs £30. To book, call 01484 714563. Tickets can also be purchased on the door.
