Roger Davies will be returning to bowl the crowds over with a concert to raise funds for Lightcliffe Cricket Club.

The performance will be held at Coley Church Hall, Coley Road, on Saturday, November 15.

Speaking about the concert, Roger said: “Last year’s concert at Coley Church Hall was a great night and this one on November 15 should be even better.

“I’ll be playing songs from a forthcoming brand new album ‘Local Radio’, due in March 2015, plus lots of live favourites, including my current fundraising single ‘Wear Your Poppy with Pride’, which is raising money for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.”

The song was created last November with children from Shelley First School near Huddersfield, who sang it at a special school service of remembrance event.

Doors open at 6.30pm, with the music starting at 7.30pm

Tickets include a pie and peas supper.

Tickets are £10 and available now from 07776 211891 or people can pay on the door on the night.
