HAPPY feet will take to the stage at Rastrick Parish Centre on Sunday, December 16 when members of the Limelight Theatre School present their Christmas show.

Taking part will be members of the school’s junior and intermediate streetdance groups as well as the Limelight Ladies’ adult class who will present a 1920s-inspired Charlestown routine and give a Zumba display.

The theatre school is run by James and Lisa McCann.

James said: “All of our dance and drama groups will perform in the show as well as dancers from Castlefields School where Lisa also teaches. “There will be a mix of streetdance routines and Christmas songs and our drama group will present a piece they have created called ‘Christmas Carnival Movie’.

“Finally - and guaranteed to be greeted with a chorus of ‘ahhhs’ - will be our Boogie Babes performers who will be showing us some of their favourite routines.”

The Christmas concert is always well-attended by friends and families but anyone is welcome to attend.

Tea, coffee, cold drinks and mince puies will be available.

Tickets are available on the door at £2.50 for adults and £2 concessions.
