Roger Davies is delighted to announce a special show at Brighouse Civic Hall at which he will be launching his new single.
The renowned singer-songwriter will be performing his song ”Wear Your Poppy With Pride” at the show on Saturday, August 30, at 7.30pm. All proceeds from sales of the CD will be donated to the Poppy Appeal.
Roger wrote the song last November after being asked by the head teacher of Shelley First School to write a song for the children to sing at its Service of Remembrance.
“Since it’s been so well received by audiences at my concerts and whenever I’ve played it live on the radio I thought the song would be able to make a positive contribution if it was released as a fundraising single for the Poppy Appeal,” he said. “I’m very pleased and proud to be working with them.”
