The Beck pub on Bradford Road is getting ready to celebrate St Patrick’s Day with its first real ale and cider festival.
Landlord Adrian Whitworth has been busy planning the festival which will run from March 14 to 17.
The Irish-themed festival will have 14 different real ales coming from Northern Ireland with six farm-produced Irish ciders.
Entertainment will be in abundance with Friday evenings antics from 7.30pm. There will be Irish music and dancing from Pete and Pam Stone, JP Totham plus Mick and Susie Darling.
On Sunday they have a treat with singer Roger Davis performing and launching his new CD. He will be appearing from 4pm.
To end the beer festival entertainment there will be an Irish themed pub quiz at 9pm.
This Sunday from 4pm the pub’s popular live music sessions will come from Phil Cockerham with an acoustic set.
