Stacks more to see and hear at festival

Brighousee Festival continues into this weekend with stacks more events and shows to come.

Everyone who bought a ticket should note that the “Kinks” concert originally scheduled for last Sunday will now take place this Sunday, October 30, 8pm at the Civic Hall. This much anticipated concert music is being performed by the cast of the West End musical “Sunny Afternoon”, which tells the story of 60s legends The Kinks.

A “play along” ukulele concert (with soloist the Hawaiian Shirt Racer) is scheduled for tonight, Thursday November 27 at St John’s Rastrick, 7.30pm when people are encouraged to take their own ukes.

On Saturday night, November 29 lovers of 50’s style jazz are in for a treat with a concert by Ahmed Harfoush with Daniel Bath and his band, which takes place at Central Methodist Church, 7.30pm.
