Calderdale schoolboy comedian Jack Carroll has made it through to the live shows of TV’s Britain’s Got Talent

The youngster from Hipperholme tweeted that he will be on tonight’s (Tuesday) live show. “My live show is tonight, give me a vote, if I’m any good.”

Jack was one of 45 contestants who made it through to the live shows. He was shown on Sunday night waiting nervously with 200 other acts to find out if he had made the cut.

Announcing whether the 14-year-old had made it through Simon Cowell told them: “We have gone through every single competitor all the singers, comedians and all the dancers and made a decision now as to whether you are ready this year for the live shows or not.

“We think you are.”

Jack who was at the London hotel with his parents Sue and Matt said: “That was mental. I can’t believe that out of all these different people I’ve come this far.”

The Brighouse High School pupil has been tipped to win by comedians Jimmy Carr and Jason Manford.
