On a sunny day, with the course looking excellent, 41 players enjoyed a friendly but competitive day’s action at Ashley Durman’s Lightcliffe Lady Captain’s Day.

Three of the Holdens - Hannah, Vicky and Georgia - all won prizes.

With lightning quick greens and interesting pin positions, the Pimms and strawberries were a much needed boost for the back nine.

Whil the golfers enjoyed their rounds, the Lightcliffe ladies bridge club also took an active part in Durman’s special day. The presentation took place in the evening when the clubhouse was filled with more than 80 ladies.
