Old Brodleians first team coach John Cole will boost the Under 17s Colts’ tour to Belgium at Easter after arranging a dinner dance to be held at the club.

Taking place on Friday, March 1 (7-7.30pm), the evening will consist of a three course meal, comedian and a disco and John is hoping to have at least 100 there on the night.

“Between the team and the coaching staff they have already done a fantastic job in raising funds to get them over there,” said John.

“I just wanted to do this to top it off and make sure they have a good time.

“There are still tables available and it promises to be a really good night.

“It is a smart/casual dress code, no need for black tie and tickets are £25.00 per person.”

The team set sail on Good Friday and will take part in a series of games the following day where they will be looking to reach the final.

The tournament concludes the following day after which activities have been arranged before returning home on Easter Monday.

“I am really looking forward to going out there and watching them, especially as I don’t get to watch my youngest son Johnny play as much as I would like,” added John.

“It promises to be a great competition and I am sure we will come back and be able to give a glowing report with some excellent results.

“There are some very talented players in the group and I am sure that a lot of them will go on to bigger things.

“All of them I am sure would be well received in senior action.”

Anybody requiring tickets for the dinner-dance can call John Cole on 07885736956
