Brighouse-backed Northowram U11 Colts continued with their winning streak when accounting for Hepworth United 7-3.

From the outset a great pass from Ollie Spence to midfielder Daniel Lynch bolted straight from midfield and tearing through the Hepworth defence to score an amazing goal. Last week’s hat trick hero Dylan Metcalf scored another three goals with some great positional play, Lewis Colan added another, then great link up work between Dylan and Charilie Cooper led to another. An own goal decided the seventh.

Resilient Hepworth snatched one back before half time. There was excellent defending through out from the defiant Colts back three Ben Brearley, William Madgewick and Joshua Goodair working well in conjunction with midfielders Adam Thornton and Marshall Heaton.

Great goal keeping by Daniel Motley kept Hepworth at bay throughout the game, but the hard working but tired Colts conceded two goals in the last five minutes, but it was too late to deny Northowram all the points with a brilliant win.

Brighouse Sports U11B beat Northowram Rams 8-2, Ben Gledhill getting the first goal.

With confidence up this led to wave after wave of attack resulting in Archie Brown scoring four fantastic goals from range.

Just before the break Gledhill got a tap in for his second goal.

In the second half Northowram scored their first goal, but Gledhill got his hat trick with great link up play with Tyler Sagers.

Tom Young decided to bag himself a goal before Rams came back with a late goal at the death.
