Brighouse Juniors FC are delighted that England and Lincoln Ladies player Jessica Clarke is to make a personal appearance at their first ever Girls Football Day on Thursday, August 8.
Jessica is the quickest player in the Lincoln squad and one of the most useful attacking weapons they have.
Jess developed through the age groups within Leeds Carnegie Ladies (now Leeds United Ladies) youth system and soon established herself as a regular first-team player.
She represented England at U15, U17 and U19 levels before making a breakthrough with the seniors in 2009. Her three appearances at Euro 2009 included one in the semi-final.
Now with Lincoln Ladies, Jess featured in seven 2011 World Cup qualifiers, including the play-off against Switzerland, scoring four goals.
She continued this impressive goal scoring streak in the Finals when she netted the winning goal against New Zealand in the group stage.
Jess scored two in the recent Euro 2013 qualification campaign.
At times she is totally unplayable as sides struggle to contend with her pace and direct running.
The day is being run by FA approved coaches Courtney Thompson and Richard Brearley and is open to girls from ages 8 to 15.
For an entry fee of just £5 the girls will be treated to a fun day with top quality coaching, which includes a coaching team from the West Riding FA who will take a training session.
Players from Brighouse Town Ladies and manager Rob Mitchell will also be in attendance throughout the day.
GLC Photography of Halifax will be there to capture the days events. Photos will be available to order with 10 per cent of all proceeds being donated back to Brighouse Juniors.
The event will take place at Brighouse Juniors HQ, Broad Oak, Hove Edge from 10am-3pm.
All girls will need to bring a packed lunch and a tuck shop will be available on the day.
Anyone interested in taking part should contact Richard Brearley on 07917774673, email email@example.com or Courtney Thompson on 07894403646, email firstname.lastname@example.org
