A disappointing performance from Brighouse Town saw them crash at the semi-final stage of the Halifax and District FA Cup for the second year in succession.
Although they started well and had the majority of the possession they failed to take their chances and went down by 2-0 to Ovenden West Riding at Old Earth, Elland, on Saturday.
