Paul Brown (Keeper): Retained from last season, a good pair of hands and agility makes him one of the best keepers in the area and he will undoubtedly frustrate opposing strikers this season with his contribution.
Jason Kirby (Keeper): Young stopper developing well. Brave and excellent shot stopper and a good kicker will add value to the squad.
Tony Nicholson (Defender): Club Captain "Nikko" has seen the development of the club over the past 15 years and alt
hough a veteran he is still extremely fit and is looking forward to being part of the club's new era.
Paul Moore (Defender): Returned to the club this season, a strong leader and no nonsense defender, who talks well and motivates through example. Will cause problems in the air at set pieces.
Damian Gomersall (Defender): Another player retained from last season. Reads the game well and with his pace provides great cover at the back.
Ryan Brook (Defender): Classy Ex Ovenden West Riding defender who also plays for the successful Elland Sunday side. Can play as a sweeper or at right back. Quick minded and over the ground.
Ben Charlesworth (Defender): Young but promising Central stopper, good in the air and on the ground and will be looking to consolidate in the NCEL this season.
Jordan Maltas (Defender/Midfield): Ex-Emley and Liversedge youngster, strong in the air and in the tackle, can play on the left as a fullback, wingback or in midfield.
Calum Rodgers (Left Back): Dynamic left-sided youngster, retained from last season. A fast and strong defender who performed well in the pre season. Has a bright future if he maintains the progress.
Shaun Gibbons (Midfield): Strong ball winner who joined this season from Halifax Irish, "Gibby" creates opportunties with well timed runs into the box supporting his strikers. Tireless player who will be prominent this season.
Damian Place (Midfield): Experienced ex Halifax Town, Farsley Celtic and Harrogate Railway midfielder retained from last season who will add quality this season.
Jermaine Manners (Midfield): Experienced ex-Farsley Celtic and Liversedge player captured from Garforth Town, "Jammers" oozes quality and has the ability to create opportunities with his quick thinking and distribution.
Dave Phelps (Right Midfield): Quick thinking Bradford Park Avenue youngster on loan this season. Has great vision and the ability to link up well. Good crosser of the ball will contribute as he develops.
Wayne James (Midfield): Ex Liversedge and Emley work-horse. Tall and strong with good ability on the ball. Scores goals and is a versatile squad member.
Brian Matthews (Midfield): Recruited from Halifax Irish, the ex-Halifax Town junior is an intelligent midfielder with excellent distribution. Calm on and off the pitch, if he laid back any further he'd fall over!
Glen Lee (Midfield): A Brighouse Town regular for several years. One of the fittest players at the club, Glen contributes with calm and assured quality, scores goals from midfield regularly.
Dave Noble (Midfield): Former Halifax Town junior and Liversedge midfielder. Battler in midfield with good skill who motivates players around him.
Chris Evans (Midfield): Ex-Huddersfield Town YTS naturally gifted left-sided midfielder that can play as a defender or forward.
Sean McManamin (Midfield): 'Crouchy' is another youngster who has impressed the management team in the pre season with his ability and attitude. Another one to watch for the future.
Sam Talbot (Midfield): Versatile and intelligent youngster brought to the club from Hebden Royd Red Star, 'Tally' talks well and has impressed with his contribution to the pre season.
Matthew Roy (Left Midfield): Tricky old-fashioned winger who can go around a player with a drop of the shoulder. Will give many a full back a headache.
Chris Wood (Forward): Strong ex Wibsey and Liversedge frontman who holds the ball well and links play. Scores and makes goals for his colleagues.
Damian Melvin (Forward): Sharp and hard working striker brought to the club from Liversedge to provide firepower up front. Can play off a centre forward or links well in different forward lines.
Sam Frankland (Forward): Strong ex-Halifax Town YTS, also an ex-Yorkshire youth cricketer. Can strike with both feet and contributes well to the team. Will score his fair share of goals this season. Plays for the successful Elland Sunday side.
Ryan Buckley (Forward): Ex-Bay Athletic and Liversedge striker. Pacy and tricky can score spectacular goals with both head and feet. One to watch if he can shrug off recent nagging injuries that have hampered his progress in recent seasons.
Damian McKenzie (Forward): Ex-Bay Athletic and Eccleshill forward with pace to spare, 'Barlo' can change a game with his dribbling and fast feet. Can be at 60 per cent and still go past a defender. Deceptively strong too.
Karl Amos (Forward): Fast and strong wide man with good feet and great ability. Can upset defences with his work rate and tenacity.
Jordan Pettifor (Forward): Hard working forward who unsettles defenders with his strength and natural ability to be in the right place at the right time.
