DANCERS at Abinitio School of Dance had to put on an extra performance after ticket sales for their two shows were a sell out.
For their annual performance, around 100 dancers aged from three-years upwards performaed a variety of dance routines from ballet and tap to modern jazz and street jazz to funky ballet.
The routines which were cheographed by their dance teacher Liz Scattergood, proved to be a huge hit with the audiences at Brighouse Civic Theatre in Bradford Road with ticket sales for their two night performances selling out.
Liz said the shows were fantastic. “The dancers all did really well especially the younger ones, aged three and four. There was a lot of parents who were really impressed and proud that they were on stage and it was a nice experience for the children to be on stage too,” she said. “We had to put on an extra show the week before on a Tuesday because the number of people who wanted to come and see them.”
