Police still want to speak to witnesses following the arrest a 25-year-old Huddersfield man in connection with the death of Andy Feather.
He died after being punched in the early hours of Sunday at the Liquid nightclub, Halifax.
Detective Chief Inspector Nick Wallen from West Yorkshire Police’s Protective Services (Crime), said: “A 25-year-old man was arrested in Huddersfield and is being held in custody on suspicion of manslaughter.
“The incident occurred around 2.20am in the early hours of Sunday (9/2) when an altercation is thought to have taken place in the Liquid nightclub.
“Despite receiving treatment from paramedics the 38-year-old man sadly died at the scene.
“We are still keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident and I would ask them to come forward.”
