Music from Bucks Fizz to The Saturdays provided the inspiration for an end-of-year show performed by students from the Zoe Kelly School of Dance in Brighouse.

Dancers, aged from just four-years-old to 17, who had a 100 per cent success rate in their exams, were presented with their certificates and medals and then put on a show for parents and friends.

Zoe, who opened the school in 2005, said: “The show incorporated different styles of dance and gave the students the chance to show their families what they had learnt over the year. The pupils are very enthusiastic.”

The show was attended by the Mayor of Calderdale, Coun Ann Martin, and her consort Mohammad Naeem.

Zoe’s freestyle dance classes are held on Saturday mornings at St Joseph’s Church Hall, Brighhouse. For more information contact her on 0779 1112870.
