Singer Ophelia crowned Brighouse Has Talent champion

Eleven-year-old Ophelia Ormerod sang her way to victory in the grand final of the Brighouse Echo presents Brighouse Has Talent.

Ophelia wowed the judges and the audience with her performance of the smash hit song ‘Let It Go’ from the Disney movie Frozen.

She received the Brighouse Has Talent trophy and a £100 cash prize.

Seven-year-old Donnie Catlin was the runner-up. He performed a song and dance routine to the Olly Murs track ‘Wrapped Up’.

Third place went to Baliff Bridge based girl band Once Geronimo.

Family, friends and supporters packed into Brighouse Civic Hall on Monday night to cheer on their favourite acts.
