Police are appealing for information following three robberies at commercial premises in Bradford.
At about 6.37pm on Wednesday November 5, a group of males wearing face coverings entered commercial premises in Mortimer Lane and approached the counter.
There was an altercation between the males and the two shop staff, in which some packets of cigarettes were stolen.
The group then fled towards Gain Lane.
One of the shop workers, a 21-year-old man, was taken to hospital with facial injuries and cuts to his hands.
At 7.01pm, a group of males wearing face coverings approached a 16-year-old male and a 37-year-old woman outside commercial premises in Fagley Terrace.
One of the males ordered the woman into the shop, before two others engaged in an altercation with the 16-year-old.
As the woman attempted to break this up, one of the males pushed past her and entered the shop.
The woman shut the door, but the male then pushed his way out of the shop. Another male then damaged the shop door with a golf club.
No demands were made for property and nothing was stolen.
The group then fled in an unknown direction.
The 16-year-old suffered facial injuries in the altercation, but these were not believed to be serious.
At 7.41pm, two males wearing face coverings entered commercial premises in Killinghall Road and began shouting.
A third male then entered the premises and struggled with the male shop worker.
One of the males then approached the cigarette display and filled a bag with cigarettes. A small quantity of cash was also taken.
No weapons were seen and no one was injured.
The suspects are described as Asian males, of average build and between 5ft 2ins and 5ft 10ins tall.
All were believed to be wearing face coverings and hats.
Detective Inspector Ryan Bragg, of Bradford District CID, said: “Given the short distance between where these incidents occurred, we can confirm we are linking them at this stage.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
