Brighouse scouts took to the waterways in Wakefield in an amazing and challenging day of watersports.
Over 120 young people from the area travelled to Pugneys Water park for the event which saw them take part in a variety of activities.
Braving the wind, the boys and girls donned life jackets and helmets to climb aboard various watercrafts to gain new skills and hone existing ones, whilst having fun and adventure under the watchful gaze of qualified instructors.
Mark Pullen from Brighouse Scouts said: “This annual event is organised by a team of volunteers with the sole aim to provide the youngsters with the opportunity to take part in adventurous activities that may not be normally offered through other aspects of their lives.
“This event isn’t the only time scouts get the opportunity to take to the water as many groups have access to the equipment, and some leaders have undertaken the relevant courses to be able to offer water based activities in a safe environment.”
