Artist and psychotherapist Sandy Barker is holding a summer school at Wilkin Royd Mill, Brighouse, next month.
There will be three sessions throughout the month: line drawing (August 5 to 8); wet work, form and colour using oils (August 12 to 15); and the human form with a life model (August 19 to 22).
There will also be four half-day workshops on Friday afternoons from August 9 to 30.
Sandy said: “The summer school promises to be an exploration of human emotion using line, form and colour. There will be three sessions over three weeks, and I’ll also be opening my studio in the evenings and running a Saturday class for children.
“The sessions are for a range of people. I don’t expect anybody to have expertise. It’s about people making work and discussing the merits of it.”
