A pizza delivery man had to be cut from his vehicle after a collision with another car.

The man, thought to be in his 20s, was delivering for Domino’s Pizza in a Honda Civic when he collided with a Subaru in Elland Eoad, Brighouse, at 7.40pm last night (Sunday).

The impact caused his car to leave the road and crash into a telegraph pole.

The driver was trapped in the car and was cut free by fire crews from Rastrick and Halifax, who had to remove the passenger doors and roof.

The man was carried from the vehicle on a flat board and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary by ambulance.

The extent of his injuries is not known.

The male driver of the Subaru is not thought to be seriously injured. Crews left the scene at around 9.30pm.
