It’s official - Brighouse has talent!
All of the acts in our new competition the Brighouse Echo presents Brighouse Has Talent performed in front of our cameras at the audition day at Bailiff Bridge Community Centre yesterday (Thursday).
Brighouse Echo news editor Dominic Brown said: “We had a brilliant day at the auditions and it was fantastic to see all the acts perform.
“Thank you to Julia Baldwin at Bailiff Bridge Community Centre for accommodating us for the audition day.
“And thanks also to our photographer Jim Fitton and reporter Lauren Wafer-Kiddle for their great coverage.
“I hope our readers enjoy watching the performances and get voting for the acts they would like to see on stage in the live grand final.”
Videos of all the performers will be appearing on the Echo website over the next few days, so you can see them all in action.
And then the voting begins on Monday, November 17, at noon, when an article will be published on our website stating the polls have opened.
The vote, simply log on and post a comment on the article saying who you are voting for.
Or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org stating the name of your favourite act.
Alternatively a voting coupon will be printed in next week’s Brighouse Echo which you can fill in and post back to us.
Voting will close on Tuesday, November 25, at 5pm, so make sure your online vote or coupon from the paper has been sent to us before the deadline.
The top ten acts will go forward to the grand final at Brighouse Civic Hall on Monday, December 1, at 7.30pm.
We’ll reveal the finalists in the November 27 edition of the Echo.
