Brighouse couple Keith and Sharon Boothroyd have launched their latest project for mobile devices.
Their latest creation is called Ryecorn Digital Publishing and is aimed at developing a series of fun, chick-lit novels based in the fictional Yorkshire town of Ryecorn.
The debut story is called “Poppy Spicer: A Slice of Life”, written by Sharon under the name S.BEE
The couple, who live at Whinney Hill Park in Brighouse, are no strangers in finding news ways to encourage more people to read using new digital formats. In his spare time Keith designs websites and android apps, and Sharon is a semi- pro writer.
“I don’t think there are that many chick-lits set in Yorkshire. The novella is an ideal holiday read,” she said.
The novella is free to download on all android devices or to buy for 77p from Kindle.
